Work
History

Nhien currently serves as a professional mediator with the Northern California Mediation Center. At NCMC, Nhien heads up the Affordable Mediation Program, a program that serves low to mid-income families in the areas of divorce, separation, and small claims. Over the years, Nhien has successfully mediated disputes in areas ranging from marital dissolutions to property disputes and tenant move-outs.  Since 2007, Nhien has also volunteered on the Communications Committee of the Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California. Previously, Nhien volunteered as a mediator for the Small Claims Panel of the San Francisco Superior Court.

Nhien has served as an international speaker. She has facilitated and taught classes, provided small group trainings and workshops on topics ranging from Prosperity and Transformation to the Enneagram (as a tool for gaining self awareness and understanding differences).  She has worked with Boards of Trustees and other leadership groups, college students, hospital patients, spiritual communities, and the public at large.


Nhien has practiced law in areas including antitrust, securities, commercial,  landlord-tenant, education, and family law. Nhien is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California and all California courts.
